Perennial. Blooms early spring. Spreads 12" wide, 6" tall. Full sun to light shade. Sow in spring 2 - 4 weeks before average last frost or late summer/early fall. Sow inside 8 - 12 weeks before average last frost. Prefers cool germination temperatures - keep temperatures between 50 and 70 degrees. Seed requires light to germinate - press lightly into soil surface and keep moist. Alyssum Basket of Gold is a wonderful water-wise groundcover with dense clusters of golden-yellow spring flowers. Combine with red tulips, blue phlox, and candytuft for a wonderful early spring color display. Will wash away your winter blues quickly! Excellent in rock gardens, the foreground of borders, and as a groundcover. Looks incredible cascading down walls.
